Memento Hikikimori

Hikikimori and the Rental Sister was a pleasure to peruse, despite once again dealing with the trope of trauma and recovery. But then, the ending just felt wrong, like we are supposed to feel sympathy for the wrong reason. The expected ending felt more deserving, and the one that we received seemed like a detour. Why should I feel sympathy towards this character? I felt more for another one, one that does not get his or her due.

In short, a pleasure, a treasure, and a joy to read, but the conclusion does not deserve to be rooted in my memory.
